A-tench-HUT!!!!
In 2025, we will celebrate the 250th Anniversary of the creation of the United States Navy and Marine Corps. To commemorate this milestone, we are hosting short talks on the history of our early military, highlighting figures such as Commodore John Barry, the founder of the Navy, and Samuel Nicholas, the first Commandant of the U.S. Marine Corps.
Join us at the John Barry statue on Independence Square between 12 PM and 1 PM or 5 PM and 6 PM to meet our volunteer guides. They will share historical insights and answer any questions you may have.
